The Family YMCA's Strategic Plan

As a charitable organization, The Family YMCA raises funds to ensure that no one is turned away for inability to pay. But we couldn't help others without help from corporate and individual partners and donors.

The Y typically supports 300 people, 200 of which are children, with close to $90,000 in financial assistance. Donors also subsidize youth sports and recreation programs, including our Espanola YMCA Teen Center.

In 2022, our partners are helping us provide expanded youth and family programs, especially for middle-school aged youth. New programs include a 7-week nutrition and fitness program for youth called BEST - Being Emotional Strong Tactics; and Worth Defending, a weekend long empowered self-defense, verbal de-escalation program that will provide youth with practical techniques to apply immediately.
